I see that your board seems to have a place for a DVI connector on the IO panel. But I don't know if the digital signal would be sent to the DVI connector.
There may be more needed than just soldering a DVI connector to the board to get it to work. |

Pertaining to HDMI:
Short answer, no. Doing so would require knowledge of the A58M's pinouts and first rate soldering skills. Long answer, no. Not for a novice to perform. Costly if a shop performed this modification. More cost effective and less time consuming to simply replace the motherboard with one that accommodates what your requirements are now Edited by wardog - 15 Jul 2015 at 5:49pm |

I am afraid I have to agree with Parsec and Wardog here. There is no way to know what additional components would be required aside from the port itself, the monitor feeds back voltage to the motherboard so I would be willing to bet there will be need for resistors and such. As Wardog said, you will likely find it cheaper to just upgrade the board or get a cheap discrete GPU.

Xaltar, for mentioning the/any missing components required for functionality.
That completely skipped my mind at that moment I posted. |
