Hello everyone,
i bought new parts to make PC. I've connected everything like in instruction and I got problem when running PC :"no cable connected" on my monitor. I've read all posts on forum about this problem(I belive i did...). So first of all list of components: What I have:
Someone asked for BIOS version, on MB there are two sticker that says "P2.20" So i guess both BIOS versions are P2.20. But I have no idea how to update it/check it in other way without monitor. Does anyone have idea what can I do ? Please help :) |

Welcome to the forums and thank you for the comprehensive post
![]() First up, make sure your CPU power cable (8pin) is the correct one not an 8pin PCIe power cable. Secondly, make sure the RAM is seated properly, just one stick in A1 or B1 for now. The Gaming series boards have nice tight fitting RAM slots so be sure it is pushed in all the way. Lastly, for now at least, make sure you unplug the power from the PSU when you remove the BIOS battery. Leave the battery out for 20 mins or so to make sure it clears properly. |
