Now i have no ddr3l-12800(1066) except one ddr3-8500 1G memory.
I knew J4205 support 1333/1600/1866 official.
But When i inserted one ram(8500 1G) to J4205, it work noting after power such as no-display, no-booting and no-beep.
Question1) Is it correct becaue of mismatching?

and so i buy one ddr3l-12800 8GB memory and it will get that next week.

Question2) Is J4205 work in case of single memory mode?
If it is possible, Where does it insert in DDR_A1 or DDR_B2 socket?

The specifications say the board and J4205 processor will not work with 2GB memory, so I assume it will not work with DIMMs that are smaller than 2GB, such as your 1GB memory. The memory support list for this board only has 4GB and larger memory in it:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/J4205-ITX/index.us.asp?cat=Memory

The J4205 will work in single channel memory mode. It does not matter which memory slot you use, you can use A1 or B1.

Hi guys, regarding topic about compatibility of memory modules for ASRock J4205 ITX motherboard I report Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x4GB SO-DIMM DDR3L 1866MHz CL10 (BLS2C4G3N18AES4CEU) works only on frequency 1600MHz in dual-channel mode. It must be set manually in BIOS. Only one module is working when it is set AUTO or 1866MHz.in BIOS.

You are still hanging around. That's good.

I gave you a Thanks for posting which specific 8GB kit you've discovered to work.  Thumbs Up
