Hi everyone,
I just started building my pc i have a ASRock Z170 Pro 4s along with a Intel i7 7700K processor. Me and my friend started building it today and got everything setup but when we booted it up nothing would show up on screen and the PC would turn off and back on after 10 seconds. I looked into updating bios because it cautioned me before i bought my stuff that i might have to do that and was wondering how i would go about updating the BIOS on the motherboard since nothing is showing up on screen. Thanks for any help.

I highly doubt it has BIOS 7.xx flashed to it but directly to the right of the CMOS battery is your BIOS chip with a sticker and printing on it.

What is printed on the sticker?

Have you performed a BIOS reset on it? You might. Not saying it will certainly help but .......

Too, you two didn't overlook plugging in the 8-pin CPU Power in the upper left corner did you? This is commonly overlooked here and a cause of much grief till done.
