Hi!

I use the Z270M-ITX/ac MB for my new HTPC build with Windows 10.
Everthing works fine so far exept one thing.

I have an USB 2.0 IR receiver connected to the internal USB 2.0 header for my IR RC6 remote.
This works without problems as expected.
The system is going into S3 mode when I push the power button on the remote, but it doesn't wake from S3 with the remote.
I configured the OS to only use S3. I disabled S4 and S5 in the power settings.
The IR receiver is configured to allow wake from S3 and S4 (device manager, properties, energy settings).
The BIOS is set to allow wake up from all possible devices (PCIe, Keboard/Remote, Mice).

After that I connected an USB keyboard with an external to internal USB dapter cable to the USB 2.0 header. Same behavior, no wake up from S3.
Then i tried the IR receiver with an internal to external USB adapter cable connected to an external USB3 port.
That worked! The system wakes up from S3 like it should. Same settings as before.

Is there a way to get S3 wake up working on the internal USB 2.0 header?
Maybe it is an BIOS or USB 2 driver issue?

Regards

Got it to work.

This MB needs a very long signal (about 1 -1.5 sec) via IR to wake up.
I set my harmony remote to send the power togle command for 1.5 seconds.

I'm sorry for not answering. Pat yourself on the back for such a through and descriptive first post. Yet after reading it I had no other options for you.

I've given you a Thanks for coming back(to an un-answered post no less!) and passing on what you discovered. Knowing that may help the next Logitech User.
