Hi all,
due to another isse I'm facing at the moment, I wanted to reset the CMOS of my Asrock Z170 Extreme 4: - I unplugged the power, swapped the CMOS jumper for 10 seconds and set it back. Nothing, CMOS did not reset. - Unplugged the power, pressed the clear CMOS switch at the I/O panel for 10 seconds -> Nothing, CMOS did not reset - Unplugged power, removed battery for one minute and tried again -> Nothing, CMOS did not reset - Unplugged power, removed battery overnight -> It worked, CMOS reset Surely there mus be an easier way? |
