Dear eightobeh,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

We do the test but couldn?™t see the same symptom.
After installing Intel Wireless Lan driver ver:18.40.4 on our website, the system could connect to the Internet successfully via Wi-fi method.

[Config.]
BIOS: P2.20
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
CPU: 1800X

According to your question, we provide some suggestions for trying.

1. Please refer to the user manual (page.26) from the link below to clear CMOS to try (Please shut down the AC power).

2. Please make sure your system is installed wireless LAN driver.

3. Please disable the Wifi adapter in device manager, and enable it again.

4. Please restart the router to verify.

5. Please connect Ethernet cable to router to check if this device is working properly.
If yes, please use another device to connect router via Wi-fi to verify.

6. If possible, please boot into another HDD with clean OS for verifying.

7. If possible, please change another Wifi card to verify.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD

I had the same problem with my X370 Taichi build. Contacted ASRock but only got the same solutions I had already found on Intel's homepage.

I found a method that worked for me but don't know why:

1. Flash the BIOS to v2.30
2. Reinstall Windows 10 64-bit from scratch.
3. After the installation is complete, first of all install the WLAN Intel driver.

After this the WiFi-connection worked at once without trouble.

I am using Win10 64-bit on X370 Taichi and I had trouble with the Wifi.
I could see my private network but all attempts to connect to it resulted in a "Can't connect ..." message.
Do you know how to solve this symptom?
I remember the BIOS is 2.20
