My PC stopped waking from Sleep
Without exception, I put it to sleep. Power light blinks, will not wake on mouse or keyboard input (lights on wireless controller off). Only way to get out of this mode is hold down the power key for 5 seconds, wait 30 seconds, then re-power up. Tried changing C3 states to no avail, tried plugging into other USB ports. This used to work, only thing I can explain is recent update to Windows 10 build 1703, no BIOS changes. Any ideas? thanks! Dear Atoro,
Thank you for choosing ASRock.
Regarding your case, we have built a system to verify, system can wake from sleep properly. This is our system configuration: CPU: i7-5820K RAM: DDR4 64GB BIOS: P1.90 OS: Windows 10 1703
We provide some suggestion to verify. 1. Reinstall your VGA driver. 2. Update BIOS to P1.90 with BIOS default setting.??o:p> http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/X99%20Extreme6ac/?cat=Download&os=BIOS 3. Press the power button to wake up the system. 4. Reinstall your operating system to check.
Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD |
