I purchased [F4-3200C14D-16GFX] When I bought the x370 Taichi since it was listed as compatible at 3200mhz.  Is there any way to find out if a second set would work at 3200mhz without having to actually buy and trial and error?  Would like to upgrade to 32gb but had memory issues the last time I upgraded and don't want to again if I can avoid it.

its not bad, but latency is quite high even on ryzen platform
u probably didnt touch tRFC, that one on my XMP setting is like 560?
but it can go as low as 224 which reduces latency by alot...
anyway that value should be multiply 16....so u can start at around ~320 and go down a bit if ram gets still stable
rfc2/4 doesnt do much, so no need to spend hours on reducing those

I had issues for a while, trying to figure how to make work this memory with the ab350m pro4,
G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3000 C15 2x8GB
After hours of trying different configurations, an RMA and new processor I found that this memory will run with the XMP on at 2934 MHz.. I had to turn off training mode and that stopped the instability with the memory.. Very happy with Asrock AB350m pro4.. the latest bios update works better on the processors I tested, including the A12-9800.

My current configuration is:

Ryzen 5 1400
AB350m pro4
G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3000 C15 2x8GB
WD Black 1 TB
500W EVGA Power
DVD
MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti DirectX 12 GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16

hi guys
i've an Asrock Fatal1ty gaming x and 16gb G.Skyl Ripjaws V F4-3600C16D-16GVK 3600 ..actually working without any problem at 3200 XMP ..they should be certified by Asrock to work also at 3333 but i haven't tested it yet ..as long as i think 3200 is a very good choice.
Bios ..3.40

MB ASRock X370 Killer SLI, ryzen x1800, 32 GB DDR4-2933 Corsair CMD16GX4M2B3000C15 v5.39

short answer = no overclocks on ram inc. xmp settings are garrenteed

long answer = your ram is more budget than good quaility, and the am4 platform is still in learning stage as to what to set and how to run ram sticks

real answer ? either spend more on ram in first place e.g. gskill and /or
try using the ryzen ram calculator here to manually find settings that should work for you

http://www.overclock.net/t/1640919/ryzen-dram-calculator-overclocking-dram

this will take you around 20-30 mins to do

What daytonyb says here.......

And I'll assume BOTH 16GB kits of CMD16GX4M2B3000C15 are v5.39

Hi,
I've just bought the Taichi x399 board with an AMD Threadripper CPU.
I'd like to use all 8 memory slots with 8Gb each, i.e. a total of 64Gb

Which memory sticks can be used for that.
Many thanks for a hint,
Helmut
