Thanks for the info so I have the following:

WRT=24; RTR-S = 4; RTR-L = 7; WTR-S = 4; WTR-L = 12; RFC = 313; RFC2 = 193; RFC4 = 133;

I could not find any RTW and WTW (I think they are Read to Write, and Write to Write)? but no mentions of them in the timing configuration or I did not see them

in bios is called as follow:
TwrwrScL (write to write - same bank group) - 2
TwrwrSc  (write to write - different bank group) - 1
TwrwrSd  (write to write - different rank) - 5
TwrwrDd  (write to write - different dimm) - 5
TrdrdScL (read to read - same bank group) - 1
TrdrdSc (read to read - different bank group) - 1
TrdrdSd (read to read - different rank) - 3
TrdrdDd (read to read - different dimm) - 3

Thanks for clarifying things up, I have these set as follows:
The only difference from your settings is a +1 on both Sd and Dd for read and write, I will got -1 on them as you an report back

TwrwrScL - 5
TrdrdScL - 5

TwrwrSc - 1
TwrwrSd - 6
TwrwrDd - 6

TrdrdSc - 1
TrdrdSd - 4
TrdrdDd - 4

Ok so I went with the timings you sugested above, and set 3333MHz with 16-15-15-15-38 and 1.4V

These are the results which again seem low, that L3 Cache speed is much lower now, very odd
Any ideeas guys what could be the problem here?
Also trying to set CAS lower than 16 will not stick, even tho the bios is telling me 15 in the box, the actual latency as see on the box on the right is still 16 even after a reboot, I am setting memory timings using ASRock Settings from the Overclocking page, not the AMD CBS page

Edit1: After load uefi defaults and load just the XMP profile to 3333MHz and 1.35V the scores are exactly the same, so chaning from 16 16 16 16 39 to 16 15 15 15 38 and your sugested timings for R/W made no difference. I can post some screenshots with all the timings so you can check them

cl15 u can set if u disable geardown
your values looks much better, tho your copy is still lacking

day 2 with 333mhz and current stable timings:

so happy

hmm looking at your pictures, some of your timing has either too high value or too low
coz its impossible (with valid timings) to have lower read speeds than write
as for cache...u have 4core cpu, i have 6 core cpu, and this test is multithreaded
theres not much u can do with that tbh, only overclock will help :P

and dunno if u know, but if u have single ranked ram, then u cant expect to have same transfers
coz dual rank is faster (mine :P)
but on the other hand, single ranked are easier to overclock which usualy has same effect

btw got stable 3400 :-) timings are rather loose atm, still waiting for some random errors (if any)

Indeed the Dual vs Single Rank might make a difference, it could also be as you said different sub-timings between your kit and mine, depending on how GSkill and Corsair set them from the factory.
It might also be the new IMC that Raven Ridge uses that needs some more tweaking with a new Agesa update as Summit Ridge needed until it got to where it is today, getting 3400MHz is very good for 1st gen Ryzen congratulations on the accomplishment.
What DRAM voltage did you use to get it to 3400 with 14 15 15 36?

PS: When setting timings do you guys usually prefer to set tRP to the same value as tRCDRD/tRCDWR?

For the moment I dropped down to 3200MHz with stock SPD timings but managed to lower the voltage to 1.30V from 1.35V, I'll wait for the next Agesa then I'll begin testing in depth the best timings vs frequency vs voltage scaling with the 2400G and this Corsair Single Rank Kit

Bumping the 2400G to 4GHz on all cores @ 1.35V and keeping the memory at 3200 with 1.3V and stock timings yielded the following result:

Upping to 3333 at 1.4V seems to much voltage for too little bandwidth gains going from 3200 at 1.3V
No matter what speeds I choose there is always this 7000-8000MB/s difference between write and copy, and a 1000-2000MB/s for Read to Write...

well i still have some backup pictures on some old settings, i think it may help you:

twrwrscl - 2
trdrdscl - 7 (default)

twrwrscl - 2
trdrdscl - 2

I tried as follows

TwrwrScL - 2
TrdrdScL - 2

TwrwrSc - 1
TwrwrSd - 3
TwrwrDd - 3

TrdrdSc - 1
TrdrdSd - 2
TrdrdDd - 2

It made no difference regarding the speeds, the benchmarks were the same, I then tried upping +1 on them, again no difference, this is very odd because for you setting from 7 to 2 for TrdrdScL resolved the copy speeds, it seems with Raven Ridge there is something else going on that affects the copy and write speeds
If someone with a 2400G can post a Aida64 Cache and Memory benchmark for comparions it would be great, (latest version of Aida64 is needed for Raven Ridge)
