I have a ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 , i was working fine untill 3days ego. Than suddenly there was no display, the computer has power the fun are on LED light are on.
So i remove my graphic card GTX780ti  and ram
Turn the computer on error code was b7 , so i re-install the CPU and ram
Turn the computer on than it says d6 , so i place the Graphic card on to the PCI slot
Now it says A2 (or it could be R2)

Question:
I have heard no bleep ,
Does this mean that ram cpu and GPU are working fine what should i do next

Thank you

When the problem started, did you see what code was on the Dr Debug display? Was that the b7 code?

Did you see what code was shown before you reinstalled the CPU and memory?

If you heard one beep when you start the PC before the problem started, that means POST completed successfully. Now the PC fails to complete POST, so no single beep. You cannot get into the UEFI/BIOS now, right?

There is no R2 POST code, it is A2. A2 is a SATA POST code, which usually means one of your drives has a problem. The SATA POST checks are the last thing that happens in POST, so the CPU, memory, and GPU should be fine. Do you still get nothing shown on the monitor?

Since you are getting A2, and if you cannot get into the UEFI/BIOS, start disconnecting power from your drives until you can get into the UEFI/BIOS. If you can get into the UEFI/BIOS, you will probably still see an Ax POST code, but that is just left over from POST, and will disappear once the PC boots.

But it seems the PC cannot boot, so start checking your drives.

Hi thank you for your reply , yes it was d7. No I did notice notice the error code before I re-install the CPU and memory. Yes now I can not get in to Bios. I have check all my Hard Drives and non of them boots. I have 3 Hard Drives and no others sata connecter are use for any other devices. I check each hard drives separately no luck. And each sata connecter in the motherboard. Really confuse what to do now
Thank you

The d7 POST code is, from the manual: No Console Input Devices are found. That's a strange error, as if the USB ports were not working. You might have a power supply problem, even if the fans are running. Let's ignore that one for now.

The b7 code error is: Configuration Reset (reset of NVRAM settings). That is about clearing the BIOS/CMOS, and the NVRAM part normally means the board's battery was removed. I doubt you did that.

Do you still get the A2 POST code?

If you have the original battery in the board, it may be bad since the Z77 Extreme4 is an older board (I have two.) If you have another battery available, just in case you could replace it. If you wanted to buy one, they are not uncommon, the model number is CR2302.

I don't know if you did this, but I would clear the BIOS/CMOS with the jumper on the board.

Then remove the video card, before trying to start the PC again after clearing the BIOS. Connect your monitor to the Intel iGPU, I assume your CPU (model?) has an iGPU.

Now try to start the board again, but watch the Dr Debug LED for any code that remains on the display.

If you can easily remove power from all of your drives, try that. You should be able to get into the BIOS UI without any drives attached/running. I suggested you try that in my first post, but I don't think you did that. You said you checked each drive separately, so I don't think you did that.

You said you have three drives but "... none of them boots". I don't understand, do you have Windows or another OS installed on all three of the drives?

Hi it was b7 not b7 sorry. My CPU 15 2500k has HD3000 graphic build in.
I try jumper on the broad than remove my GPU, than attach my dvi to the motherboard, turn on the computer, now I get d6 (meaning no VGA has been recognised).
Thank you
