Hi, i update BIOS from inside BIOS utility in board FM2A78M Pro4+ it says ok, but when reboot nothing happens, only black screen.
I buy a ch341a programmer and read the bios chip, and all is empty :( But when i download BIOS from Asrock site, all 3 options (Win, Dos and InstantFlash) are not a clean BIN or HEX file to flash. How can i extract the clean bios hex to reflash my board? Where can i download a clean bios file? My mother was bricked using the Asrock bios utility and now i've got a brick on my desktop. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance.

changonie, I DLed all three and I think only the ROM (BIOS) file has a chance. It is 8,392,704 bytes, 4096 bytes more than 8 MB. I can only suggest you research your BIOS type and try to determine why it is this size. You should probably open a ticket with ASRock and ask them. Is it an AMI BIOS? Good luck and enjoy, John.
