Hey there, new user here!
So recently i bought the Crucial P3 SSD (https://it.crucial.com/ssd/p3/ct500p3ssd8) I tried installing it in my old mobo B450M-HDV R4.0 that i need to run a server on. When i plug it in and boot up the pc, it gets stuck on the boot logo screen with f2 button etc., not picking up any keyboard inputs and whatsoever. I also tried installing a different SSD (Samsung SSD980 i think) and it worked perfectly. Tried also using the Crucial one on my main pc, working perfectly. Ive seen this is a common issue and others suggest upgrading the BIOS, but i cant seem to get it working cause whenever i upload the BIOS files into a FAT32 usb stick, or in the root of a drive, i always get "No image File Detected". PC SPECS are -CPU: AMD Ryzen 3400g -Ram: 16gb 2x8 3200mhz -Mobo: B450M-HDV R4.0 Stock cooler Any help is appreciated. I cant return the ssd and have to use this one or a SATA one, but i wanted more performance... |
