I have a question with regards to ASRock H81 PRO BTC R2.0 motherboard.
I have 3 graphic cards connected to the motherboard, using powered raisers. On booting i get the following message: "please install the psu's 4-pin power cables". (Btw i found a few other threads with the same issue, but i got a different question). As stated in the manuel (page 22) i'm using two Molex (female) cables to my PSU (Crosair HX1200i). But the message still keeps popping up. Is there anyway to check if the cable is connected properly? How can i check that the molex connectors have power? Futhermore my PSU doesnt have a 4pin connector. So now it is connected to a 6pin (peripheral & sata). Could that be issue? Edited by Mopeh - 28 Jul 2017 at 7:17pm |

I have had the same issue, I just hit enter / continue and ignored it, everything works fine.

Dear Mopeh,
Thank you for choosing ASRock.
Regarding your case, we provide some suggestion. 1. Please follow the user manual page 22 to connect the two 4-pin (Molex) power connector. http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/H81%20Pro%20BTC%20R2.0.pdf 2. Please load BIOS default, press F9 during BIOS to load BIOS default, press F10 to save the configuration. 3. Please update the BIOS to the latest version. http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81%20Pro%20BTC%20R2.0/?cat=Download&os=BIOS
Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD |

This seems to be a splash screen to remind you to connect the molex power connectors. It can be disabled in the BIOS, if memory serves, or simply hit the keyboard shortcut provided in the message to not get reminded again. I also initially thought that it was an error... this should be made more clear.
