Hi, I would like to use an SSD as the primary boot disk for the OS and some commonly used files. I installed a brand new Samsung EVO 850 250GB SSD. The drive can be seen in the list of drives under Computer and I can access it and store files there etc The problem I have is that the BIOS does not seem to see the drive, so I cannot set it as the primary boot drive? Is there a way around this? I see there is a bios update of 2.10 but I believe this is for the Ivy Bridge processor and I only have sandy bridge. I have seen that 2.10 causes problems with Sandy Bridge... I would really like to use the SSD as the primary HDd if you know how I can do this. Many thanks
