**Due to chipset limitation, the Blu-ray playback of Intel® HD Graphics is only supported under Windows® 8 / 8 64-bit / 7 / 7 64-bit. ***Intel® InTru??3D is only supported under Windows® 8 / 8 64-bit / 7 / 7 64-bit. not a good fit for WIN 10 ? Why buy a new computer if no suitable hardware to WIN 10 ? |

I don't know why the specifications for the Z170 Extreme6+ include that warning.
If we check the specs of an Intel Skylake processor, we can see the Intel HD 530 graphics include support for Intel InTru 3D: http://ark.intel.com/products/88195/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_20-GHz If we check the specs of a Z97 board, we can find the same warning that does not include Windows 10. I can't find anything in the Windows 10 Intel graphics driver for the HD 530 graphics that states that InTru 3D is not supported. I'm guessing that the warning has just not been updated to include Windows 10. The warning is really saying that Windows versions older than Windows 7 will not support BluRay playback or support InTru 3D. |
