(i had a old version of windows on another hard drive that i have attached and it boot into it)
So I was able to get into windows (mouse not working), then shut down and that was it.

Hi,
I'm having a problem with figuring this one out.  I put my system together
parts:
corsair HX620 PS
corsair vengence RAM - 2 sticks 8GB
MSI 1060 Video card
i5 7600k
samsung NVMe 960 SSD

Put it together and on first time boot
usb keyboard and mouse acting up.  Mouse doesn't seem to work but keyboard does.
I get into BIOS and see that only 8GB RAM is seen.  I take a look, and sure enough i put
the RAM is slot 1 and 4.  My fault.  I change it to 2 and 4 and boot.  Nothing screen black.  No post
nothing.  I try different setups with the RAM... nothing...no video.  i try no RAM... same.  I reset the cmos... nothing.  I don't know what to try.  I'm not sure it its the RAM or the motherboard.

any suggestions
