Greetings, My problem is:
Whenever I plug a 3 pin fan on the AB350M Pro4 (CHA_FAN1 or CHA_FAN2) it gets crazy, up and down, with peaks of 50.000 rpm. I know that cannot get same control from a 3 pin fan than from a 4 pin, but that speed is too much, it stays at +-3.000rpm with peaks of 50.000rpm and I checked these numbers on UEFI, Aida64, Speedfan, HWiNFO64, etc I updated UEFI to 3.10, I load UEFI default, I changed the customize valors for chassis fan on UEFI. But always same result. I cannot plug any 3 pin fan because it's gonna break and it is very noisy. What can I do? Thanks. |

Dear Johusan, Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. For this case, we tested on AB350M Pro4 with BIOS P3.10. Install two 3-pin chassis fans on CHA_FAN1 and CHA_FAN2. The fan speed are both under range and they also spin properly on the system. So we would like to provide some suggestions for verifying: 1. Please refer to the user manual to clear CMOS.(Page 27) 2. Please re-flash BIOS P3.10 again. 3. If possible, please change another 3-pin fan for verifying. 4. If possible, please install the fan to another system for verifying. Thanks! All the best, ASRock TSD |
