You are correct, OceanBlue72, tech support can be very frustrating.  It can work, though.  Right now I have an active exchange with both ASRock and AMD about a RAID issue.  I hope you are running your memory at nominal settings.  If not, open the BIOS and hit F9 (Load UEFI Defaults) and F10 (Save and Exit).  Perhaps you should open a thread on your memory POST problems.  Please post your specifications in your signature as I have, including power supply and Windows version.  By putting it in your signature, it automatically appears on all your pages and can be changed one time which updates all occurrences (old and new).  There are several threads here about memory and several about 128 GB problems with lots of advice.  Enjoy, John.

There is no updated bios version for download and until now i have no response  from the ASRock support.
I'm running my 64GB quad channel kit G.SKILL Trident F4-3200C14Q DDR4 since bios version 1.30 with the xmp profile at 3200MHz without any problems, the same for 1.50, 1.70 and 1.80.

Signature is updated.

Thanks, OceanBlue72, for the specifications.  Sorry support is so bad  for you.  I have no response on one of mine, but it is a minor USB problem.  Enjoy, John.

The ASRock Support from Netherlands has answered me and send me a new bios version 1.81 from his colleague in Taiwan. Wow!
Now everything is perfect - the tools showing me the correct AGESA Version:
AMD AGESA Version:                                                              ThreadRipperPI-SP3r2-1.0.0.4

This is really a great and direct customer support!

Thanks, OceanBlue for keeping us up.  I am glad they at least changed the version number.  Enjoy, John.

Do you think by chance you can send this BIOS to me? I've yet to receive a response from ASRock and I'd love to give it a try.

For me it would be no problem to send the bios version, zipped size is only 5,5mb.
But i'm not sure if it's allowed by ASRock to do this and i don't want to get in any trouble. I have no experience in that.

So i would appreciate a "official" statement. Otherwise i could ask ASRock by myself.

OceanBlue72, I can understand your hesitance, but your chances of getting any "official" statement here is very low - almost all of us including the moderators are users as you.  I would suggest you ask the support person who sent it to you.  Enjoy, John.
