I tried increasing the voltage all the way up to 1.39vcore and pch 1.0 up to 1.15 in increments of .05 nothing helped..

it gets worse as the overclock increases.. at 4.6 Its fine anything at 4.7 or over it gets worse..

I put another thread up with a link to the audio file..

Raise the PCH voltage and see if that helps.

When I'm at 4.5ghz and 1.25vcore I dont have any issues..

When i bump up to 1.275 vcore and 4.8ghz I start getting an awful audio distortion in Discord.  I can run fine at 4.8ghz, game for hours, cpu doesnt get over 55c, just get the awful ear screeching audio issue in Discord..

I can play BF4, Heros&Generals, Youtube videos, run any given benchmarks and I have no issues.. It's just happening in Discord output..

I run a Z370 Taichi, I5-8600k, 16gb gskill ddr4-3000, zotac 1080amp edition, Seasonic 750w m12-II
