Hi all,

I've bought the mobo and memory at the subject. It's not listed in compatible memory list in Asrock webpage. Messages about some compatibility issues are very old like 6-7 months.

Is there anybody there with this combo running memory at 3000Mhz?

CMK16GX4M2B3200C16R is listed as ddr4 3200MHz memory kit but 3000 seems fair.

Best Regards.

Are you kidding man?  You'll be fine.  There were some general high speed ram issues at launch but the Corsair Vengeance series of RAM was the RAM that AMD put in their press review box when they shipped out the first samples of Ryzen so AMD is basically vouching for this RAM.  Make sure when you get the RAM to put it in slots A2 and B2 in your motherboard.  I have the same motherboard as you so just an FYI that the AB350 Pro4 is very picky about ram slots.  You can't do A1 and B1.  It's gotta be A2 and B2.  After A2 and B2 are filled and you want to add more ram you can then fill in A1 and B1 (but the new sticks will have to be the same as the old ones).  Like I said the motherboard is very picky.  A2 and B2 only.  Good luck with your build!

Thank you bro, I'm just confused by the fact that the list on mobo support file does not contain the memory code. Thanks ;)

Last night I've set up the system, xmp profile 3200Mhz couldn't boot but the timings were correct. 2933 Mhz succeeded, didnt try 3066.

Should I try out manual dram timings? But XMP profile timings were correct. Any suggestions?

Hey,
Any update?
Also have the same setup and my RAM can only do 2933, too. I could not yet find custom timings to make it work.

If you want 3200 Mhz i recommend this :

Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 8 GB 3200 Mhz
Module Number: BLS8G4D32AESBK

I use two of them in Slot A2 and B2 with XMP profile.
Runs 100% stable at 3200Mhz.

They are also cheap compared to other 3200 compatible sticks.

I just bought the same ram and it boots at 2133 by default and I cannot get it to boot any higher. In A2 and B2 slots. My Vengeance 2400 still works fine after 5 years.

Can anyone help?

Thanks
