Your board has the ICH7R SATA chipset: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/ConRoe1333-eSATA2/

Your board and chipset originally used the Intel Matrix Storage Manager (IMSM) driver for the ICH7R, but no IMSM driver supports Windows 8.

But the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) driver can be used with the ICH7R, as long as you use the correct version.

This is the last version of IRST that Intel has that supports the ICH7R (check the Readme file on this page) and Windows 8:

We are lucky to find a driver for Windows 8 for your board, thank goodness you did not ask about Windows 10! Ermm

Hello,

I`ve got a problem with this mainboard on the Windows 8 and 8.1. I need drivers for Intel ICH7 27B8, but I can`t find. Anybody maybe have? I know it`s possible to install but i need driver package.
