Hello,
My system: Ryzen 9 9950X AsRock X670E Taichi I have two kits of Corsair 2x48gb 6600MHz CL32 (CMK96GX5M2B6600C32) (192gb in four sticks). With bios 3.06 motherboard didn't even boot (Error code: EC), but with new bios 3.08 (with AGESA 1.2.0.2) I have successfully booted with 192gb of ram. The problem is, everything works with XMP and 3600Mhz or 3800MHz, but anything higher does not pass ram training. I have tried changing the impedance, like here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/159xoao/stable_128gb4x32gb_ddr56000_cl30_on_agesa_1007b/ https://youtu.be/NtMIppL9UC4 but nothing works. Is there anything i can do? |

reset all settings and set in bios:
dram freq: 5200 or 5400 or 5600 dram timings: all auto DFE Read Training = Enabled Gear Down Mode = Enabled Once stability is found, you can turn these back to Enabled: Memory Context Restore = Disabled Power Down Mode = Disabled voltages: VDDIO = VDD = VDDQ = 1.2 or 1.25 or 1.3 or 1.35 VSOC = 1.25 VDDP = auto VDDG CCD/IOD = auto VDD Misc = auto Infinity Fabric = 2000 UCLK = MEMCLK bus configuration: ProcOdt = 48 ProcCaDs = 30 ProcDqDs = 34.3 DramDQDs = 34 or 40 RTT_NOM_RD = 5 RTT_NOM_WR = 4 RTT_WR = 2 RTT_PARK = 4 DQS_RTT_PARK = 5 or RTT_NOM_RD = 4 RTT_NOM_WR = 4 RTT_WR = 2 RTT_PARK = 5 DQS_RTT_PARK = 5 or RTT_NOM_RD = 5 RTT_NOM_WR = 5 RTT_WR = 2 RTT_PARK = 5 DQS_RTT_PARK = 6 Also try RTT_WR = 1 go to AMD-->CBS-->DDR Options-->DDR Training Options and set: RX2D_TrainOpt = manual TX2D_TrainOpt = manual TX DFE Taps = 1 taps RX2D voltage step size (2^n) = 1 TX2D voltage step size (2^n) = 1 RX DFE Taps = 1 taps |

Thanks DemonAk, I have tested the settings you wrote in every possible configuration, but unfortunately nothing works for me. I can achieve 4200Mhz with impedance + gear down, but anything higher doesn't boot.

Try ProcOdt 60 or 120 if you not POST with 48 om

Changing values of ProcOdt doesn't work either. Maybe something is broken on the bios side? This is the first bios on which it is possible to attach 4 sticks of ram on ryzen 9000 series, maybe in the next update they will change something for the better.

Hello! I have the same motherboard & CPU as you do. I went with 2x32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM kit. However, I had to lower the DRAM frequency to 5800MT/s, as with 6000MT/s I had some errors in MemTest86. When running 4x48GB DIMMs, it's a lot of stress that you put on the memory controller. The official supported speed in that case is 3600MT/s. You won't be able to go much higher than that! So, it's a trade between density & speed. You can't have both! I'd suggest using only 2 DIMMs, which will be faster & better in most situation. |

time to test these settings:
reset all settings and set in bios: dram freq: 5200, 5400, 5600, 5800*, 6000* dram timings: all auto DFE Read Training = Enabled Gear Down Mode = Enabled Once stability is found, you can turn these back to Enabled: Memory Context Restore = Disabled Power Down Mode = Disabled voltages: VDDIO = VDD = VDDQ = 1.36 VSOC = 1.22 or 1.25 VDDP = auto VDDG CCD/IOD = auto VDD Misc = auto Infinity Fabric = 2000 UCLK = MEMCLK bus configuration: ProcOdt = 48 ProcCaDs = 30 ProcDqDs = 34.3 DramDQDs = 34 RTT_NOM_RD = 4 RTT_NOM_WR = 4 RTT_WR = 2 RTT_PARK = 5 DQS_RTT_PARK = 5 go to AMD-->CBS-->DDR Options-->DDR Training Options and set: RX2D_TrainOpt = manual TX2D_TrainOpt = manual TX DFE Taps = 2 taps RX2D voltage step size (2^n) = 1 TX2D voltage step size (2^n) = 1 RX DFE Taps = 3 taps Memory training time will be 3:40 minutes each reboot until you enable these settings Memory Context Restore = Enabled Power Down Mode = Enabled |

Also you can try training options
go to AMD-->CBS-->DDR Options-->DDR Training Options and set: (Training time 4:10 minutes) RX2D_TrainOpt = manual TX2D_TrainOpt = manual TX DFE Taps = 3 taps RX2D voltage step size (2^n) = 1 TX2D voltage step size (2^n) = 1 RX DFE Taps = 3 taps or (Training time 4:50 minutes) TX DFE Taps = 4 taps RX2D voltage step size (2^n) = 1 TX2D voltage step size (2^n) = 1 RX DFE Taps = 4 taps or Auto (longest memory training from 9-12 minutes) RX2D_TrainOpt = auto TX2D_TrainOpt = auto TX DFE Taps = auto RX DFE Taps = auto The training time is given for 128 GB. For 192 GB it will be longer What will be better specifically for you needs to be tested |
