I just installed my new Z370 gaming K6 together with a 8700k and a 16 GB Trident 4266 DDR4 Kit installed into slots A2 and B2.

The board wont POST at all and gives me the error 4C 00 15 30

It will post when using just the B2 memory slot with one stick.
Both sticks work but only solo in the B2 slot. Any other combination in any other slot single or dual will produce this error.

I just updated the bios to 1.20 too.

Did I get a defective board or is there hope?

I managed to get it to boot now. I had to reseat the CPU.
The board is making me go crazy though. No matter what multi I set (speedstep disabled) the board never fixes the clock I set.
Setting: Allcore: Multi 49 - The board boots at 3.7ghz or at 4.5 Ghz but never at 4.9 Ghz. It's like nothing I change in the bios has any effect.
