I have a X670E Taichi main-board with 3x NVMe and all usable SATA connections utilized.
Ever since the first 3.0x beta BIOSes were released I have the following issue. I currently have the 3.08 BIOS installed. On cold boot, 1 of the 3 AMD GPIO devices fails to initialize properly (yellow exclamation mark in the device manager). It states there weren't enough resources available. The symptom you immediately notice when you have logged in is that the system tray displays the "usb" icon. All SATA connected drives are now "hot-swap". (This used to be similar to thunderbolt being enabled in the BIOS (2.xx)) However, when I perform a "warm" reboot and then get back to being logged in. The system with the 3.08 BIOS installed is working like it should and all 3 of the AMD GPIO devices have initialized properly. Why won't it initialize properly on cold boot???? With the previous official 2.10 BIOS I did NOT experience this issue on Cold boot. |

I would open a support ticket with ASRock and inquire with them. With BIOS related
issues it's doubtful you will find help here on the forums, while ASRock Tech Support (ASRock_TSD) does post here from time to time, they don't see and reply to every thread. https://tw.asrock.com/events/web.asp Also, please don't report the call girl spam, I delete it every time I have a free moment, I don't need my email spammed too. I delete thousands of posts a day from these spamming jerks. Thanks for taking the time to try and help but it's only useful reporting spam that is sneaky, embedded links in seemingly legit user posts for example. Good luck |

Thanks for your reply.
I'm sorry for the spam reporting, I was afraid my post would get swamped by the spammer. |
