No such kits are listed in the memory QVL. You can try, but there's no guarantee they'll work.

In the manual you can found :
1.2 Specications Platform ??nbsp; Mini-ITX Form Factor ??nbsp; Solid Capacitor design CPU ??nbsp; IntelĀ® Quad-Core Processor J3455 (up to 2.3 GHz) (for J3455B-ITX) ??nbsp; IntelĀ® Dual-Core Processor J3355 (up to 2.5 GHz) (for J3355B-ITX) Memory ??nbsp; Dual Channel DDR3/DDR3L Memory Technology ??nbsp; 2 x DDR3/DDR3L SO-DIMM Slots * 2GB DRAM is not supported. ??nbsp; Supports DDR3/DDR3L 1866/1600/1333 non-ECC, un- buered memory ??nbsp; Max. capacity of system memory: 16GB ............. But it's not clear to me the meaning of * 2GB DRAM is not supported. Does it means 1gb+1gb or 2gb+2gb ? |

The specification on ASRock's web page state for J3455B and J3455 that:
*2GB DRAM per module is not supported. So that would mean 2 + 2 is a no go, and presumably this also applies to 1 + 1. However, if you look at the memory QVL's on ASRock web page, the smallest supported memory sticks are: J3455B: 2GB J3455: 4GB If those lists are correct, the J3455B should support 2 + 2 when using the memory that is listed (Transcend, TS256MSK64W6N). The J3455 on the other hand does not seem to support 2GB modules at all. Edited by PetrolHead - 19 Dec 2017 at 10:13pm |
