Hello,

I am new to the forum hoping to get some help on my latest machine where I am stuck with a Dr. Debug error 54.

The board is ASROCK X399 Taichi with an AMD Threadripper 1920X. I have flashed the BIOS to latest version (2.00) using the flashback utility. The memory is G.Skill F4-3200C15D-32GTZ. I have 4x16GB that I tested in different configurations from 1 to all 4 (following the memory population in the manual), no success. I cannot enter BIOS, Dr. Debug shows error 54 which is a memory error. What has surprised me a bit is that the memory is from the ASROCK list of compatible memory.

Do you guys have any recommendations or ideas what I could test?

Thank you very much in advance. Let me know if you need further info on the system.

Thank you for your reply, I was just about to write as well.

The problem is solved. I disassembled the system and put it back together, now the error is gone. It must have been the CPU because now when I took it out and back in, the error is gone. I have new ones, b2 and now Ab, but I think those are minor. At least I have BIOS and a screen how.

Thanks for reading and trying to help!

Glad you are running, hansdampf.  I should have posted the link to codes.

Both of those look like progress codes.
Enjoy, John.
