Where can i find the block diagram of this mainboard?
The information i am specifically looking for is whether the last PCI-E x4 lane connect to the CPU or the motherboard. I have an Intel 750 PCI-E Nvme ssd. Would it eat into CPU pci-e lane, making the GPU run at x8 speed instead of x16? If it connect to the mainboard then would any SATA port be disabled (i read in the manual that there are 2 M.2 slots that will disable 2 SATA ports if an ssd is inserted)? @wtallis Edited by tminer - 06 Jun 2018 at 6:47am |

Dear Tminer,
Thank you for contacting ASRock.
Regarding your question, ASRock Z370 Taichi 3 PCIe
x16 slots is connect to the CPU. If PCIe SSD is installed at PCIE4 or PCIE5, PCIE2
will run at x8 mode. https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Z370%20Taichi/index.asp#Specification
Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD |
