I'm on a Ryzen platform and as the guys on our part of the forum already understood, we're not immune to that BS either. My 960 EVO took a huge hit (EDIT: 50%!!!) on 4K read and write after Microsoft's patch alone! FFS! ![]() For now I think M$ didn't have the time and in a moment of panic they pushed the 'fix' for everyone, AMD users incl. I'm starting a campaign to fvck M$ and Intel as they did me. As for ASRock, their flagship X370 mobo is waiting for a new UEFI for 5 months. No need no comment further. Edited by zlobster - 09 Jan 2018 at 2:34am |

I'd like to know too; apparently ASUS has already done so.
I'm also hearing that their update severely reduced NVME performance; I wonder if it's smart for most people to even update it. Edited by Plutosaurus - 09 Jan 2018 at 1:24am |
