I wanted to build a new PC with the Z370 Extreme4 and the i7-8700k but I am unable to establish if I can use the Samsung MZ-V6E500BW 960 EVO 500GB M.2 SSD as my boot drive. I can see that the QVL includes some Samsung drives but not all of them.
Any thoughts on this? ![]() |

Thank you for your quick reply, may I ask if you got a similar setup yourself?

Yeah, got an 8700k, a 960 EVO 500gb, but a Z370 Gaming k6. The Extreme4 is basically the Gaming K6 minus an extra NIC and Creative's cinema sound.
