My current BIOS version is 1.60 and I am trying to update it to 3.00 so I can use Windows flash.
I've already formatted a USB flash drive with Rufus with FAT32 and put the bios file on.

Up to this last step I have ran into problems. No file shows on instant flash in UEFI Bios section. The files just won't open, and I don't know what command to use. It says bad command or file name.

I am using a Cruzer Facet 16GB USB flash drive. Could this be the problem? Any help would be great

have you extracted the file in windows desktop/download before copying the file to the usb stick ?

step by step instructions here
http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=5009&title=ryzen-dos-flashing-bios-files-here

ONE OTHER THING VERY IMPORTANT !
never use the windows based flasher utility !

after version 3 bios you can use instant flash in your bios pages its very easy ,in fact its easier than windows flasher , but WINDOWS FLASHER IS A DEAD BIOS FLASH WAITING TO HAPPEN

please remember to reset your bios to defaults before ANY bios flashing
