I got this motherboard of Christmas. I'm experience constant crashes. There aren't many days when it doesn't crash. Whats weird under heavy load it seems to be fine. When it crashes its always under low load or not being used at all. I've monitored temps and they are very good. I just reinstalled windows 10 (1709) fully patched and have hardly put installed anything and the same thing is happening. I'm not overclocking. I've done a ram test which came out fine.

Most of the time it crashes i'll not even be using it and i'll come back to a BSOD sometimes i'm just using it just browsing around in chrome or watching youtube videos & the mouse will lock up and the pc speakers will go crazy. When i first setup the machine i used all asrocks drives. When i reinstalled everything i decided to use the driver check them from intel and install all the latest version of intel drivers. I'm running the latest (non-beta) bios (1.3). Does it sound like i need to RMA the motherboard? I'm not sure what else to do.

Oh i tried to disable all the C States on the processor hoping that will help but it didn't.

thanks....

If you enabled xmp profile, change VCCIO to 1.1V and VCCSA to 1.15 in the BIOS

Hi thanks for the reply. I have to admit i don't know that much about the XMP profile. I didn't change a lot from the defaults. I did check though and my xmp profile was at "auto". There was no "off" only Auto & XMP Profile 2.0. I did check VCCIO & VCCSA which are currently set at 1.2V & 1.25V. You want me to lower them? I'm usually used to increasing V  results in more stability but not decreasing them.

Yes, lower them, a lot of people reported instability because those voltages are too high.

Good News i think i FINALLY figured it out. WHen i first set it up i set the RAM & 3200 because thats the speed of the ram. I changed it back to "Auto" and i'm happy to report i think it fixed the issue. I tried so many things and i never though something so simple could have caused it. At some point i plan to OC but for now i'm elated that everything is stable again :)
