   Bug report.

I anlyse the pcie root complex for both motherboards:
As-rock z97 anniversary.
If i use a pcie asmedia 1061 sata or an usb to pcie asmedia controller.
The motherboard uses the asmedia 1083 pci to pcie.
At random times the uefi bios of the motherboard uses wrong firmware 
it tries to put the firmware of asm1061 to asm1083 or asm1083 to asmedia so something from or devices dont detected.

z97 extreme 6:
It uses an onboard 1061 esata and asmedia usb controller device.
At random times the uefi firmware thinks that the asmedia usb device is the esata controller so the usb 3 devices dont detect in device manager and in uefi .

Both are the same problem.

I found the asmedia chip use the same device id for all the chips so the uefi firmware mybe have difficulty to recognise them.

So if u have multiple devices with asmedia chipset at random times they dont detected.
I dont know very well english but i think u can understand what i say.
It is a bug and i believe that the same bug exist also in newer motherboards.
