Hey,?
I am currently struggeling with the following problem:? I have just recently switched to a ASRock B85M DASH/OL R2.0 mainboard, since my old mainboard does not work anymore.?? So far so good... I am running Windows 7 Professional and have already reinstalled the OS and as far as I am concerned have also installed the latest driver for all of my components.? Previous to this mainboard change my system was running very well, and was able to keep up a good performance. This is sadly not the case anymore. While being i.e. in a game, I am facing constant FPS-drops and very unstable FPS-rates overall, plus short stutters in a 5 second manner. The processor seems to be fully occupied by eve small requests, that have not been problematic before.? I get the feeling that the BIOS-Settings (Currently running on P1.20) and CPU do not work very well together, and have therefore decided to update it, but a newer version is sadly not accessible for this specific mainboard.? Are there maybe some other ways for me to work this out, or another way to get an update for my bios?? System-specs:? ? Windows 7 Professional 64-bit?
