Hello
I have Z370 Extreme4 motherboard, and i have two issues with it. I cannot activate ultrafast boot from uefi bios. When i try to activate ultrafast boot , all boot devices dissapeared. I cannot select any boot device. The menu with boot device selection apears only when ultrafast boot is disabled. Seccond problem is about keyboard. I have a keyboard with led iluminated keys. After i shut down the PC, keyboard remains lighted. I connect it to all usb ports ( 3.0 and 2.0) and the same situation... |

Dear Razvan974,
Thank you for choosing ASRock.
Regarding your case, the ultrafast boot only supports UEFI boot manager, if your system is installed at MBR (Legacy mode), after Ultrafast enables, the system cannot detect the legacy boot manager. Please install the OS in UEFI (GPT mode) to check.
About the USB power after shutdown, please set "deep sleep enable" in BIOS, the USB standby power will be turned off. Please follow the below steps to set up. 1. Get into UEFI BIOS. 2. Select "Advanced" menu. 3. Select "Chipset Configuration". 4. Set "Deep Sleep" to enabled. 5. Press "F10" to save the configuration. After all, the USB power will be turned off after system shutdown.
Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 02 Mar 2018 at 10:23am |
