Hello,
Just received a new AB350 Pro4 board with P4.60 already installed. Installed AMD Ryzen 2200g and 8gb G.skill dual memory modules. System loads up fine to Bios and recognizes Ram & Processor. However, I can not get either (I have 2) SATA drive to show up in the boot order. I have tried one drive at a time and have tried SATA3_1..4 ports. (no other drives or M.2 is installed) What am I missing to get these drives to recognize? I tried different cables and even temporarily tried a different power supply on the SATA drive in case my main power supply was not putting out voltage to the drives. Any suggestions? Thanks

SilverDSS, you need to update to Beta BIOS/UEFI 4.63. Enjoy, John.

Just finished flashing and it did not fix "my" issue. I am starting to believe I may have an issue with the Power Supply or Both of my drives got zapped. Trying to round up some replacement parts to try swapping.
If anyone else has any ideas feel free to post..... Thanks

Just a follow up:
Swapped Power Supply...still no go. So then I tried both SATA drives in a working machine....AND THEY ARE BOTH DEAD! Somewhere along the line must have had a power surge that killed both drives. DANG...3TB of data and an SSD toast. Not a fun way to discover when I was all excited to set up new machine. :( |

I am having the same issue, except I tried a functioning HD (tested in another computer) in my new one and it's not finding that either.
