Hi people, I have serious problems with the system drivers.

HDMI output is greyed out even if I have installed the audio drivers provided by the asrock website.

Also, after having installed all in one drivers, if I try to install the Vega drivers found on AMD website, the system says that there is no compatible driver.

Resulting in a yellow triangle in the "devices" tree of my computer.

What the heck!

Asrock ab350i + ryzen 3 2200g.

I get error 12 in the device tree, regarding the Vega graphics. Even if driver 17.7 is correctly installed.

Also still no audio

cubebucket, stree is absolute correct!  But here is a starter.  Please go here: https://support.amd.com/en-us/download
Download the chip set drivers and video drivers for your set up.  Install them and let us hear.  Include your OS and BIOS/UEFI versions in your specifications.  You can follow the example in my signature.  Enjoy, John.

EDIT: Please look at my signature and provide ALL the information I have.

I finally got back home and managed will update my signature with the full specs of my friend's system.

The mobo is kinda new but I noticed that the two capacitors close to the HD audio thing are slightly tilted on a side. People told me that this does not matter since the capacitors are correctly attached to the board.

I really do hope this is just a driver issue.

What I plan to do is to try with a new clean install + AMD drivers.

Do you have any better hint? :) Thanks in advance :)

The two gold coloured audio capacitors each have two wires attaching them to the board. It doesn't matter if they are slightly tipped over as long as those wires are still attached. In any case they are used by the analogue audio circuit and have nothing to do with HDMI audio. Your problem is with drivers, not with capacitors.

Thanks, cubebucket.  I assume you have done more than one Clear CMOS and/or F9 and F10 - if not please do.  I think your new install of W10 is a good idea.  Is it 32 or 64 bit?  Please post the P/N for the memory, so the memory experts can comment - one stick or two and what slot?  You are welcome.  Enjoy, John.

Windows will need to be 1709, not older  with updates.
Also, the drivers.  Did you install chipset drivers then Radeon drivers in that order and both from AMD website? The order is important.
