I'm building a new PC with the ASRock Z370 Taichi motherboard. I finally finished plugging in all of the components, cables associated with components, and plugging in all of the needed power cables. When I plug in the power cord and turn the PSU on: the RGB LED on the board turns solid white for about 5-10 seconds, quickly flashes blue for a few seconds, and then changes to a slow pulsating blue. When I press the power button on the case nothing turns on.
Specs: Motherboard: ASRock Z370 Taichi CPU: Intel i7-8700K RAM: 4x8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB 3200 GPU: MSI Geforce 1080 TI Gaming X CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken x62 HD/SSD: Samsung 960 Pro M.2 512GB PSU: SeaSonic Prime Gold 750W Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro M I've been checking and re-checking and can't figure out why it won't turn on. Case came with it's own standoffs and they lined up correctly when I screwed in the motherboard. Tried removing the GPU, tried removing the RAM and only using one stick, tried moving the USB 2.0 header for the power to the Kraken, verified that the 8-pin for CPU and 24-pin power for Motherboard are plugged in. I verified that I had the CPU installed correctly before I attached the Kraken water pump. Any suggestions? I'm at a loss at how to fix this.

It sounds like your case power switch either isn't working or is connected to the front panel header incorrectly.
The LEDs lighting up means your board is getting power, the only things I am aware of that will cause the system to do nothing when the power button is pressed and the board is powered are: 1. No CPU installed 2. Broken/incorrectly connected power switch Make sure you have not mixed up the reset and power switches on the board header. You can hit the reset button and see if it powers on the system to check. This is a mistake I have made myself a few times, it's easy to hook up the wrong switch

Thanks for the help. It turned out it was the power button on the case. Even though I was pressing the button, it wasn't depressing the switch button to send the signal down the wire to the Motherboard to turn it on. I had to disassembly the power button enclosure, file down a little of the plastic that determines how far the button can be pressed and put it back together.
Now I'm up and running and all seems to be fine.
