I'm building two different computers, both with

AB350M Pro4 (new BIOS as per sticker on box)
2x4Gb Corsairs Vengeange LPX 3200Mhz (CMK8GX4MB3200C16)
Ryzen 3 2200g

The cases&coolers&power supplies are different.

Built both computers today - both are failing to send signal to display or keyboard, fans start but otherwise no signs of life. I tried different memory slots and with one stick only, different monitors and display ports. The startup is similar even with no memory sticks inserted (was expecting some beeps with missing memory but apparently no?).

Since the Mobo should have a BIOS supporting Raven Ridge (doesn't 'AMD Ryzen Desktop 2000 Ready' sticker indicate that?) is the problem that the memory is not compatible? It is not on the supported list but I was under the impression that it should work... Or anything else I could try?

Thanks for any assistance!

Thanks, found it. It is 3.30 on both so seems that I need to get it updated to 3.40 for raven ridge apu support, right? I guess it is then a hunt for compatible cpu and graphics card - or is there an a4 apu that would work on 3.3 bios?

you need a bios with 4.xx for newer cpu/apu

to flash it your'll need a am4 cpu and graphics card, or one of the lame ass older am4 apu's

amd will send you out a kit for doing it but will take 7-10 days

can supplier not flash it for you ?

Oh yes, noticed after writing. 3.4 first and then a newer one.

Unfortunately I got the motherboards online from a foreign company so can't ask their help - it is either 50??update at a store, painful long hassle with AMD's update kit or figuring out where to get some loaners. I guess any am4 socket cpu other than 2200/2400 would do?

Lets just hope that corsair vengeance lpx 3200Mhz memory will work after I get the bios handled...

Any AM4 A-Series APU will do the trick (Bristol Ridge).

The cheapest of them can be had for next to nothing, they are dirt cheap and could make a neat little HTPC if you pick up a cheap 320 board.
