Hi.

I installed it because I want to use virtual environment Hyper-V.
I activated CPU SVM in the BIOS.

When SVM was enabled, BCLK was fixed,
Installing Hyper-V will make BCLK unstable.

Is there the same phenomenon?
Why did you fix it?

Help me.

----------
Windows 10 Pro April 2018 Update (Build 17134.5)
Ryzen 7 1700
X370 Gaming K4

Power Plan : AMD Ryzen Balance Plan

Stable BCLK Clocks -> 99.84
UnStable BCLK Clocks -> 97.86 - 98.47

I have seen that here. As others on the net have too.

It is my understanding that this is a normal occurrence as SVM is completely contained and executed within the processor itself.

I've also personally experienced my OC's be hampered with SVM Enabled, FWIW.

Same thing happens with my AB350M Pro4, tested with BIOS 4.70 and 5.00.

It's 'normal' or at least - expected. AFAIK SVM and other VM stuff abstracts or hides the real HW and clocks/timers from both host and guest. IDK, might be wrong.

I believe BLCK is actually ticking at a stable rate, it's just a matter of readings and reporting. Or I may be totally wrong.

I'll be dropping a ticket to ASRock. I advise you all to do the same.
