Out of curiosity: What's the current status regarding Trident Z RGB getting to be properly controlled LED wise on x399 Taichi/Fatal1ty?

I have G.skill TridentZ 128GB 3200Mhz C14 RGB, and the Leds work just fine using the G.skill RGB utility. Is this what you are asking?

Thanks! That's one way to look at it (the G.skill software). I guess that means it's possible that you can also control it the other way around.

What would the 'other way around' be? I'm a little confused about that.

With 3.23B It starting getting BSODs as well - even after adjusting the ddr voltage and vddm.
Gone back to the 3.2 bios. It seems to be far more stable with my setup.

By using Asrock's utility instead of G.Skill's.

It only controls the chipset and light strip LEDs

Having 3.30 unable to set proper timings (memory training(?)) and BSOD's at reboot/cold-starts I decided to go to the 3.23 beta bios.

I found my saved userprofiles for memory timings are still there from 3.30 but whenever I try load these nothing happens with the timing settings. Atleast 3.30 loaded these fine so the would show up in UEFI timings bios page but would not be able to actually APPLY them.

I can only attest right now that these BIOS after 3.20 are ALPHA versions, hardly beta.

I will try and hack in the settings manually and save that to a userprofile and see if it will be able to load them correctly after that.

I have not verified and tested BSOD at coldstart/reboot yet for 3.23B. Will do after I tried save/load/apply different userprofile settings.

So to reiterate. 3.20 is the last good BIOS for me that worked well with DIMM userprofile settings load/save and APPLY.

The pathetic part is that this isn't even beta, and knowing Asrock, they'll probably never fix the problems. Last Asrock board I'll ever buy. $400 board, and this is what we get??
