Hello,

Are there any plans to provide Windows 7 USB 3.0 drivers for H370 motherboards? I know they're not officially supported on Windows 7, but some motherboard manufacturers have workarounds for Z370 motherboards to get them working; although none for H370 as far as I can tell.

Or does this depend entirely on Intel? Since the hardware ID is VEN_8086 DEV_A36D.

The issue is the USB 3.0 drivers yes. Intel won't release them for boards newer than the 100 series so workarounds need to be used to get it working. You will have to scour the interwebs and look for workarounds, I don't know any offhand as I stopped using Windows 7, years ago now.

The issue for me is that I think the drivers have to match DEV_A36D. I think you can maybe get it working for some Z370 boards, but not H370, because the USB hardware (or at least the ID) is different.

If links to other forums are allowed, here for example:

In the end they gave up and said to wait for Intel or the motherboard manufacturer.

If I find any H370 USB 3 drivers that work with Windows 7 I will add them to the Z370 Windows 7 driver topic.

I have been sitting here all night trying to get Win7 to work with my new H370 board.

The only potential I can think of being the board has only 1 PCIe slot would be to get a PCIe riser like the miners use (2x expansions), and run a USB3.0 controller on one and graphics card on the other... not sure what to do now though. 7am haven?™t slept trying to figure this out.
