Recently purchased an ssd and carried out a clean install
(win7 professional 64bit) after which it started up without any problems and I
thought that all was well. However, I find that in use that it randomly locks
up, I notice too that the drive activity light stops blinking and remains illuminated.
This usually lasts for about a minute and sometimes longer. I've researched on
the internet and find that I am not alone in regards to this issue. Over a
period of two weeks I have tried every 'fix'Ican find but nothing seems
to remedy the problem. I find too that it takes over a minute for the OS to
boot. I can confirm that it is in the AHCI mode. Been in touch with Samsung but they suggested fitting it to
another PC. Graphics
