Did AMD/ASRock fix the slow boot time associated with FlareX 3200-14 memory in the new X470/2700X configuration?  I think the issue revolves around AMD's refusal to skip the Advanced Boot Training step in the BIOS when using faster memory modules in an X370/1700X system.  As I recall I did not have the problem with EVGA 3000-16 memory.  Getting ready to buy the a new X470 MB/2700X cpu and would like one more reason/excuse to rationalize the purchase!

Hehe, the only rationale I ever need is:

1. Do I want it?
2. Can I afford it?

If yes to both it's probably already on my desk Thumbs Up

I would avoid their x470 boards currently, there's issues with fan profiles, ie they aren't spinning up as temps increase. I've noticed this complaint now in a number of user reviews, where some boards seem to have an abundance of paid for positive reviews.
