I would like to start by warmly welcoming the honourable members. Wink

I have a problem with starting the set:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 3.4GHz, 16MB, BOX (YD170XBCAEWOF)
  • ASRock AB350 GAMING K4/A/ASRK (90-MXB530-A0UAYZ)
  • Palit GeForce GTX1050Ti KalmX 4GB GDDR5 (128 Bit) DVI, HDMI, DP, BOX (NE5105T018G1H)
  • Kingston Predator DDR4, 16GB, 3000Hz, CL15 (HX430C15PB3/16)
  • SilentiumPC Fortis 3 HE1425 v2 (SPC130)
  • SSD ADATA XPG SX6000 512GB PCIe x2 NVMe (ASX6000NP-512GT-C)
  • Tacens VALEO III 500W

The mainboard does not start up properly after the power is turned on and the start signal is given.

All required power plugs are connected.
A cool illumination works.
Only the CPU fan is running.

I expect that the fast is not finished. And even that the motherboard does not detect the processor.

Could this be the reason for not having an updated BIOS?

Please forgive me for my poor English. Wink

I see one chip (SO8) with a grey sticker.
On it the text P3.20. This is certainly the BIOS version designation?

Exactly,

RAM module inserted into slot A2.

I also tried to start without an SSD M.2.
I tried starting without the RAM module to get the BIOS action.
No expected result.
I do not have any additional PCIE cards. GPU card only.

I have the impression that the CPU is not detected.

My question is which Asrock motherboards support BIOS upgrades without a CPU?

When you upgrade your BIOS to the latest version, there's no problem detecting the CPU and booting up your motherboard. Clap

All components of the kit are correctly detected. The DDR bus clock needs to be pulled up. Module clocking is 3000, the board sets the default clock to 2400.

I don't know how to insert a picture.
