I just put a new system together but I can't get my bios up. I turn it on and everything lights up, the fans run but no display. I tried hooking HDMI and VGA from the panel, nothing. I even pulled the video card, still nothing. Pulled the ram and tested it individually, nothing. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Put the system in my signature so if there were any questions the resource would be there. Cyberbach

Found a solution. My X370 Pro4 requires a bios update to recognise my 2600X. AMD was contacted and they are sending out a loaner CPU compatable with the X370, I'll install it and do the bios update, remove the loaner and can then reinstall my Ryzen and send AMD their loaner back.
Had I purchased the X470 Pro4 this wouldn't have been an issue.

I don't know where you live, but most of the older X370 stock that got shipped out earlier this year were *mostly* updated to 4.xx bioses, which support Zen+ CPU's.  It's a toss up sometimes, depending on where you are from, and where you are buying from as well.  X470 has it's own set of issues too currently, so it's not to say that you won't be without problems.  At least AMD has this program available to you.  It's very hassle free.

I've heard contradictory info about this, not helped by ASRock's lack of response.  Some claim they've received 4.5 but could at least get to the bios screen to flash, others like this post apparently not.  What gives?

The CPU support list clearly shows Pinnacle Ridge not supported on any bios earlier than 4.7.  I took delivery of this board 2 weeks ago and it had 4.5.  No big deal as it's running a R5 1600.
