I have a few computers built with ASROCK H170M Pro4 motherboards.
https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H170M%20Pro4/ Want to install a TPM chip thingy to use with Windows 10, can someone give me a quick rundown on how that all works and anything to watch out for? going from https://www.asrock.com/mb/spec/card.asp?Model=TPM-S%20Module it calls out TPM2-S Module and Nuvoton NPCT650. I'm assuming I do NOT want "TPM-S Module (V 1.2)" nor "TPM-s Module (V 2.0)" ? do I need to specifically buy "Nuvoton NPCT650" ? Or do I just look for "TPM2-S module"? can someone explain what the "-S" means on "TPM-S" ? And do they basically just plug in and work out of the box when running windows 10 pro/enterprise? I have updated the bios/uefi on all the motherboards to the latest not more than a year ago. thanks. Edited by ron7000 - 21 Aug 2018 at 10:22pm |
