Hi all,
I have X299 TAICHI XE board and I am getting a Samsung 970 EVO_1TB NVME SSD. There are 3 m.2 Slot in the board, which is the preferred slot for 970 EVO. I will be using it as media scratch disk. Not for system boot. Thanks |

Dear Mcity,
The 3 M.2 slot on X299 Taichi XE supports M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module and M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s).
The Samsung 970 EVO can works fine at all the M.2 slots.
Yours truly,
ASRock TSD

Asrock_TSD,
Thanks for the reply though late. I request you to recommend Asrock to update QVL frequently. These and many other newer drives are missing in the QVL list. Thanks, Mcity
