Hi folks, my PC suddenly won't start at all. The power LED on button still randomly blinks. Main CPU fan spins for a 1/4 of second and that's it, and this is the cycle. None of other fans in the case move. No LED on the motherboard blink or light up. I tried different PSU from my other PC and it seems that PSU is alright. I also tried resetting bios, re-connect all cables onto motherboard. Is there any other hint to check if my motherboard is gone for good?

psu is 600w, 16gb of ram, 2 hdds, 2 ssds, some  cheap gpu, asrock X99 extreme 4 socket 2011-3

thank you

I took whole mobo outside of case, took off ram, then CPU. Then i left only CPU and PSU connected and still nothing. Fan just spin for very little time and stops. Still no Led light up on mobo.

Dear Juanpablo,

Thank you for choosing ASRock.

Regarding your case, we provide some suggestions to try:

1.     Clear CMOS to load BIOS default.

2.     Only install CPU, one stick memory, and graphics card to check if the system can boot into BIOS properly.

3.     Please try to install one stick memory at A1, B1, C1 and D1 slot to check if the system can boot into BIOS properly.

4.     Reinstall CPU and check if CPU socket pin is fine.

5.     X99 Extreme4 has two BIOS ROM chip, please swap to another BIOS to boot up.

Thank you!

Yours truly,

ASRock TSD
