Got this board to replace an older socket 1366 board in my super micro 36 bay chassis. Swapped the boards last night only to realize that the coolers I bought were wrong. Wondered if I could reuse the socket 1366 passive cpu coolers, seemed that it should work so I tried. One cooler seemed to mount ok the other one would not screw down tight. Plugged system in anyway, it powered on instantly, went into BIOS and watched CPU temps which started to climb on the socket with the not so tight heatsink. Unplugged the power, ordered two super micro coolers from Amazon. Today I removed the CPU's to clean off the paste, put them back in, mounted the coolers, plugged in power and nothing. I get lights on the board but that is it. Checked header cables, power cables, all appear good. Unplugged every thing, removed coolers, made sure CPU's were good, put coolers back, plugged power back into the board, then power to the chassis, still nothing. The whole time I am getting nothing from the power button on my chassis btw. Not sure what to do next. The only card in the system is a Dell H310 HBA, four sticks of RAM in the same slots as yesterday when it powered on.
What should I try next?

Take a flat-blade screwdriver short the pins where the powerbutton is connected, if the system starts your powerbutton is broken
